Miesha Theresa Tate ( born on 18 August 1986) is an American professional mixed martial artist. She is a participant in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and was an ex- UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate previously competed in Strikeforce in which she was a Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Champion. Tate was vice president of ONE Championship. She is currently ranked in the top 10 in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings, as of October 3, 2022.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tate was born to Michelle Tate in Tacoma (Seattle), Washington. She was raised by Robert Schmidt and Michelle. As a child Tate often played with the boys in her community at the playgrounds.
